Not yet...

Okay, in case you aren't sure...that's not really Daniel, yet!  ;o)

I should probably clarify, my blog title is a little premature.  Daniel is NOT a Marine yet.  His title is "recruit" until he goes through something called "The Crucible" at approximately week 11 of his training.  He has to make it through 54 hours of food and sleep deprivation and numerous exercises, using all that he has learned, in order to be awarded the title of U.S. Marine.  

No word yet on his address, however I do know he is in Lima Company.  For anyone interested, there is a really great website, Marineparents.com that has been so helpful to me.  I recommend it for anyone with a child considering enlistment.
