What?! $500!

For the last year or so, my truck's A/C was kind of weak. I just figured I needed the refridgerant recharged. Yes, I noticed the fluid dripping from under it when ever I was stopped, but I figured that was just condensation from the a/c. Oops, guess it was a leak in the water pump! I overheated on Sunday and checked the fluid in the radiator...bone dry! Definitely not a good thing in the desert! My friend, Kelly, gave me the number to her mechanic friend and by 5pm on Monday I got my truck back and the air is blowing nice and cold again. Yay! The mechanic fixed my water pump, thermostat, flushed the cooling system and replaced my serpentine belt! I'm ready for another cross country trip! Whew hooooo!
